ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Activeweave by BuzzLogic. In January 2008, BuzzLogic closed on a $9.6 million series A financing round led by Adams Capital Management, Ackerley Partners and Transcosomos Investments & Business Development. Its deal with Activeweave comes in an effort to give marketers a means to measure the influence of bloggers increase through acquisitions and venture funding. BuzzLogic Chief Executive Rob Crumpler, said that the Activeweave acquisition will give BuzzLogic 180,000 new customers.
