eMeter Juices Up $12 Million

This article reports that San Mateo, California-based eMeter has successfully raised $12.5 million in venture capital funding for its energy management software. It is estimated that 20 million eMeter customers uses its software. According to eMeter founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cree Edwards, the new capital will enable the firm to invest in their core software and infrastructure and pursue potential strategic initiatives.
