HealthLeaders Magazine;Feb2009, Vol. 12 Issue 2, p57
The article discusses issues related to human resources (HR) in the healthcare industry. According to John Gibbons, a senior research adviser at nonprofit business think tank The Conference Board, evidence-based HR concentrates on a business's key operational and financial measures, and then identifies the HR strategies that push those outcomes. He says that HR should identify the performance indicators that senior management and the board use to determine the condition of the hospital.
