ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Heart of New Ulm program of Allina Hospitals and Clinics of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The program, which is a part of the hospital's Center for Healthcare Innovation, targets public awareness and education that covers early intervention and prevention of heart attacks. Program director Jeffrey VanWormer admits the challenges to changing the behavior of a community toward healthcare but believes in the proactive approach to providing healthcare services.
