ABSTRACT
The article offers information about the financial status of several hospitals in the U.S. as of December 2008. The Saint Anthony's Medical Center in Saint Louis, Missouri received an A2 rating with its affected debt of $152 million. The Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan obtained a rating of AAA/A1+ and the outlook for the facility has been revised from negative to stable based on maintenance of cash flow. An A3 rating has been given to Adena Health System in Chillicothe, Ohio with outlook revised from stable.
