ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the U.S. Cellular Corp. The Chicago, Illinois firm which is facing competition on multiple fronts in the U.S. market expects a return to growth in the fourth quarter of 2009. Analysts state that the firm could meet the fate of other regional players like Alltel Corp. or Rural Cellular Corp. if it doesn't strengthen its competitive position. Mark Steinkrauss, vice president of the firm agrees with the fact that the firm is not a market leader.
