ABSTRACT
The article reports on the dominance of Electronic Arts (EA) and Activision Blizzard in console games releases, according to a report from Screen Digest. The report has found that 75 percent of console games set for release between July and September 2008 belong to EA and Activision Blizzard. The two companies have completely dominated the 2008 third quarter, and they are projected to produce 40 percent of console games released between October and December 2008.
