ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and economic stimulus packages on the recovery of the construction industry in Puerto Rico. It is believed that economic stimulus packages, including the 2009 stimulus package of U.S. President Barack Obama and the $500 million criollo stimulus package of Governor Luis Fortuo, would play an important role on the recovery of the industry. It is also said that PPPs would be an additional initiative to the process.
