ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the scripts on how humans live their lives according to theologian Walter Brueggemann. He believes that all people live by a script formed through the process of nuture, formation and socialization. He adds that the most dominant scripts in the society are technological, therapeutic, consumer militarism, conservative and liberal. He notes that the first three scripts were made through advertising, ideology and propaganda.
