ABSTRACT
The article reveals the plan of Google to start a venture capital unit. According to "The Wall Street Journal," chief legal officer David Drummond will head the firm's venture arm. The company, backed by the $1.8 billion in cash flow from operations in the second quarter alone, could create a large footprint in a field where valuations are determined by cyclical market conditions and the demand from venture capitalists.
