ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Microsoft to invest $300 million into an ad campaign starring comedian Jerry Seinfeld. According to "The Wall Street Journal," Seinfeld will receive $10 million for his participation. The campaign is the largest in the software company's history and amounts to three-quarter of its total advertising budget in 2007. Microsoft's move comes to counter Apple's attacks in its "Mac vs. PC" ads.
