ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a bill submitted by a special congressional gaming committee to allow the operation of roulette and Vegas-style house-banked slots under the new regulatory entity in Mexico. Such bill is made to lift the restrictions on roulette and will allow operators to offer their race and sports books. However, it is contested that the proposed new regulations may lead the country's gaming industry to a different direction if approved.
