The article focuses on the efficiency of as-a-service model formulated by chief financial officers (CFOs) and chief executive officer (CEO) Brad Miller of Perimeter eSecurity in the U.S. Ben Rothke, senior security consultant of BT Professional Services, states that the model can be outsourced if it done correctly and strategically. However, Gartner vice president and analyst Avivah Litan explains that some information technology (IT) services are not wise to outsource.
