ABSTRACT
The article reports that Solar Power Partners has closed $100 million in debt and equity financing and plans to raise $60 million by the end of 2008. Solar Power Partners uses its own source of funds to construct, maintain and operate a solar facility on a customer's site. The financing will be allocated to expand the company's business nationally. The investors and lenders of the company include United Commercial Bank, Globespan Capital Partners and Carrelton Asset Management, among others.
