Social Gaming Network Grabs Another Facebook App

This article announces the acquisition of (fluff)Friends, a Facebook application that enables people to adopt virtual, fluffy creatures and spend real money, by Social Gaming Network (SGN). (fluff)Friends experienced a 192 percent increase in revenue per spender since its inception in January 2008. SGN is a developer of games for Facebook, MySpace and other social-networking web sites. SGN plans to use the funds it obtained in a series A round of financing deal in consolidating its game space on Facebook.
