ABSTRACT
The article reports on the sales performance of smartphones in the second quarter of 2008. According to research firm Gartner Inc., the global sales of smartphone increased by 15.7 percent in the quarter. Although Nokia remains in the top position in terms of smartphones sales, its year-over-year growth was about half of the market average.
