ABSTRACT
The article reports that two of Mexico's largest television broadcasters, Televisa and TV Azteca, have created a strategy to protest the law which requires them to broadcast political advertising to meet equal time rules for candidates. The two networks are broadcasting the commercials in lengthy six-minute blocks during popular programs such as soccer broadcasts, generating mass public complaints.
