GameTap Goes Global

This article announces that Turner Broadcasting has partnered with distribution company Metaboli in a bid to globally expand its online video game service GameTap. Metaboli will provide some management and support in a transition period expected to end in early 2009. In contrast to rival online video game service Steam, GameTap offers a subscription model in addition to paying for each game as one would in a retail store. GameTap offers three subscription levels which include Visitor, Green and Gold.
