ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of checking the impact of new technologies on the corporate culture. Taking the example of Western Union Holdings Inc., the benefits of corporate culture check are highlighted when the company decided to move its information security function out from under the information technology department. As the company looked at the impact of the newly introduced technologies and plans on the working of their employees, it got immediate feedback.
