The article focuses on Paul Gurinas who can monitor the situation taking place in his undeveloped property in Swan Valley, Montana, even though he is in his office in Chicago, Illinois. Gurinas uses a complicated monitoring system which helps him track his property 1,500 miles away. Ryan Alter, the one who installed and maintains the system, claims that Gurinas does the tracking via real-time Web access. He adds that the smaller part of the system costs $30,000.
