ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performance of New York Times Co. (NYT) bestseller lists for 2008 as compared to other publications in the U.S. including "Publishers Weekly," and the "USA Today." According to Simba Information Inc., more books made into the bestseller lists, just like the composite ranking, particularly the NYT list which has been placed by 1,948 editions in 2008 compared to 1,767 in 2007.
