ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performances of the top authors and imprints in the U.S. that were listed in the bestseller lists for 2008. Of the top 40 authors, only 10 of them brought a single book to "New York Times," starting with Greg Mortenson and ending with William P. Young. Meanwhile, in terms of imprints, HarperCollins Publishers Inc. once again lead the bestseller lists with 105 editions of the 103 titles by 90 authors.
