ABSTRACT
The article advises boaters to use an onboard water-treatment system. It is advised that boaters clean the tanks by adding a cleaner/treatment, taking the boat for a ride to slosh it around, then pumping the tank dry through the galley and head faucets. Instructions for installing a filter system are given. It is noted that many systems include dedicated faucets so one filters only the water he wants to drink.
