ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a report from Library House, a British venture tracking firm, which found that European venture investors were able to post a growth in investments in the 2008 third quarter. The report has revealed that investments by European venture capitalists (VC) increased by 30 percent in quarter. However, disclosed investments in Great Britain have suffered a 14 percent decline. The increase in overall VC investment numbers for Europe is attributed to increases in investment in Germany, France, Sweden and Israel.
