ABSTRACT
This article reports on a funding worth $1.2 million received by group-dating site Igniter, based in New York City. This site was founded by college student Adam Sachs. This site is a combined dating and social-networking site. According the company, the fund will be used on development and marketing to increase awareness of the site. The site has currently 15,000 registered members. The site offers a less alternative to one-on-one online dating for its members. It also allows members to meet other groups to increase the chance of meeting their soul mate.
