This article reports on a fund raised by widget maker and distributor JS-Kit in a second round led by Altos Ventures in 2008. According to JS-Kit, the funding will be used to expand the company's team of engineers and hire key executive people. The company also said the funding will be used to market widgets and expand partnerships in the hope to reach profitability.
