ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the preordered 1.5 million G1 Android phones by Mobile USA. Nomura analyst Richard Windsor stated that demand on G1 Android phones may cannibalize demand for Windows Mobile and that the incremental effect to hightechcomputer (HTC) may not be that huge. He foresees the sales of 100,000 devices in the fourth quarter, as a result of problems that would crop up because of the infancy of the Android software.
