ABSTRACT
The article reports on Yahoo's launch of a beta version of its calendar service, which lets users share calendars more easily and add photos from their Flickr photo service accounts. The service was developed using Ajax technology from Zimbra, which was acquired by Yahoo for $350 million in cash in September 2007 and is designed to prompt Yahoo's 278 million monthly web mail users to use the integrated calendar.
