ABSTRACT

The article unveils the plan of Clean Tech Open to host two regional business plan competitions. The organization is a Silicon Valley nonprofit that has helped young clean technology startup companies CoolEarth Solar and Green Volts to secure venture funding. It plans to host competitions in the Denver area and another in a yet-unnamed location. Clean Tech Open organizers said that prizes for 2009 would be larger than in 2007.
