ABSTRACT
The article presents the findings of the 2008 Workplace Survey of Gensler conducted in both the U.S. and Great Britain. The survey has found that employees engage in four primary work modes including focus, collaborate, learn and socialize. The survey has also revealed that only 67% of average office space is effective. The research also highlighted the role of workplace and job satisfaction in employee engagement.
