ABSTRACT
The article reports on Harrah's Entertainment's delay of completion of Caesars Palace's sixth hotel tower in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was attributed to the decrease in the number of visitors to the area. The casino company stated that opening of the 660-room hotel would be postponed until a period of stronger demand. However, Jonathan Halkyard, Harrah's chief financial officer, said that construction of the hotel tower exterior would continue.
