ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a report by Foreclosures.com which ranked Nevada eighth in terms of foreclosures in the U.S. In 2008, around 37, 043 of the 1 million homes foreclosed in the U.S. were from Nevada. The state ranked first in terms of foreclosure rate with 4.99%. In Clark County, foreclosures increased by three times to 31,416 in 2008.
