ABSTRACT
The article presents the views of executives of several optical laboratories in the U.S. about whether they are currently selling digitally surfaced lenses. Jason Blue of Optic Blue said that they are selling freeform lenses and HOYA Vision Care manufactures most of their lenses. John Sutherlin of Sutherlin Optical remarked that he is waiting for the market and the technology to settle in before buying equipment that produce these lenses.
