ABSTRACT
The article discusses obstacles to the growth of the Apple iPhone and iPod touch digital music player as a gaming device. Nintendo and Sony's control over the handheld market leaves little to no room for Apple to compete. Over 41 million Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) devices have already been sold worldwide, and even that pales in comparison to the 84 million Nintendo DS handhelds that have been sold worldwide.
