UBS analyst Benjamin Schachter enumerated possible candidates, including Yahoo President Susan Decker, News Corp. President Peter Chernin, former AOL Chief Executive Jonathan Miller, former eBay Chief Executive Meg Whitman and Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer. Yang, who co-founded Yahoo with David Filo, was recruited to become the CEO in June 2007.
