ABSTRACT
The article reports on the entry of Qualcomm in the personal computer (PC) and PC applications industries. The San Diego, California-based microchip maker built its business and reputation on blending digital engineering and mobile communications. According to chief executive officer (CEO) Paul Jacobs, the company will now be more application-focused.
