ABSTRACT
The article reports on the installation of the INTRAAX air suspension from Hendrickson on three bulk bitumen tankers working for Fulton Hogan in New Zealand. The tankers are engineered to meet demands for improved safety and performed. The selection of the INTRAAX AANT integrated suspension, axle and brake system enabled the center of gravity to be kept lower and improve the SRT rating with the lighter weight.
