ABSTRACT
This article discusses the results of a research study conducted to determine the efficacy and safety of Pebeco Tooth-Paste used twice daily as a dentifrice. It is noted that Pebeco Tooth-Paste contains fifty percent potassium chlorate, considered a toxic substance by many physicians. In an examination of rats, the researchers found potassium chlorate to be less toxic than chemical compounds such as sodium nitrite and potassium chloride but more toxic than sodium chloride or sodium chlorate.
