ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the comparison of the music and academic curricula offered at the Moravian Young Ladies' Seminary in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with that at the Nazareth Hall in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, which is a school for young men. It provides the background of the curricula of each school, as well as the educational goals. It is noted that the Seminary attracted more students who are advanced musicians than the Nazareth Hall, however, the claim cannot be proven due to insufficiency of the curriculum programs at the Nazareth Hall.
