ABSTRACT
The article offers a look at how Smartphones and Instagram are completing the revolution in visual communication that Eastman Kodak started in 1900. It was in February 1900 when the first Brownie box camera was launched by Eastman Kodak founded by George Eastman. The camera was an ultra-portable, one-button cardboard shooter which started the notion that photography can be a social activity. The popularity of photography intensified when Kodak introduced a folding pocket model.
