ABSTRACT
The article features the Heimtextil fabric show held in Frankfurt, Germany and at the Maison + Objet home furnishings fair in Paris, France in January 2009. It cites the designs and approaches in color palette and fabric texture presented during the shows. Shades of lime, fuschia, orange, purple, and hot pink were the hues that emerged at Heimtextil and Maison + Objet as well as in decorative fabrics and accessory items. Moreover, other novelty styles in the fabric world are also discussed.
