ABSTRACT
The article looks at a study which examined the hormonal influences of the histochemistry of the submandibular gland in albino rats. The effects of testosterone and thyroxine on normal and hypophysectomized rats are focused on. The author notes that atrophic changes made to the submandibular gland were induced by hypophysectomy.
