ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the financial crisis at Nortel Networks Corp. According to the executives of Pace Harmon associates, Nortel could get bypassed by the wireless industry as officials attempt to restructure the ailing company through bankruptcy. Nortel officials said that the current economic climate, high debt and expensive cost structure forced the company to seek the legal protection afforded by bankruptcy.
