ABSTRACT
The article discusses the features of the first ground surveillance mission of a European male drone equipped with a European sensor. The ground surveillance mission was noted to be carried out from the Vidsel range in Sweden for the Alenia Sky-Y which carried the new Eost-46 electro-optical stabilised sensor from Selex Galileo. The specifications of the Eost-46 Data are also presented which include the IR Camera, Daylight TV Colour Camera and the Long Range TV Colour Camera.
