ABSTRACT
The article presents an examination of the systemization of the clinical study of focal infections. It is stressed that much emphasis has been given to the subject of focal infections in the form of reports on medical and dental cases that lack scientific background, histories, unbiased analysis and any correlation with clinical pathology. The development of a dental-medical research chart that provides complete data on a given case in regard to the presence of primary dental foci and the occurrence of secondary systemic infections is discussed.
