ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of nutrition in preventative dentistry. It comments on the discovery of Vitamins A, B, C, and D and on the effect that Vitamin C deficiency has on the teeth and gums. It mentions that a diet consisting primarily of cereal grains will retard growth in young rats and be insufficient to maintain the health of adult rats.
