The article reports on the elimination of 20,000 jobs at NEC Corp. to save $889 million for the next two years. The Japanese electronics company came to the decision due to a massive quarter revenue loss in December 2008, with fiscal quarter three (Q3) lowered to $10.5 billion from $11.6 billion in the year-ago quarter and has substantially increased its loss. Moreover, the company also cuts its full fiscal year revenue to $46.7 billion from its previous forecast of $51.1 billion in sales.
