ABSTRACT
A list is provided of mistakes and omissions the Academy Awards have made in awarding its prizes. According to the author director Martin Scorsese should have won an Academy Award for his earlier films not for "The Departed," "Citizen Kane" should have won best picture of 1941 and actor Heath Ledger deserved an Oscar for his performance in "Brokeback Mountain."
