ABSTRACT
The article focuses on tooth development and structure. It comments on the structure of the organ that forms dental enamel from the malpighian layer of the epithelium and which envelops growing dentine germ. It talks about the development of odontoblasts and ameloblasts and the role they play in forming teeth. It comments on cementum, an intermembranous bone formed without cartilage, and on the process of calcification.
