ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs concerning politics, economic and business conditions in Poland. Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) has been given approval to construct to nuclear power plants. According to National Bank of Poland governor Slawomir Skrzypek, it will be hard to integrate the zloty into the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM-2). Automobile makers in the country have implemented layoffs.
